Serving as Minister of Music since 2007, Richard leads the Sanctuary Choir, the Silvertones (our community senior adult choir) and the Handbell Choir. He loves the family atmosphere at the church and enjoys working with our wide variety of ages and backgrounds to create meaningful worship through music. He holds degrees from Florida State University and the University of Georgia, and in addition to his church work, he is Emeritus Professor of Music at Clayton State University and the conductor of the Southern Crescent Symphony.
Richard and his wife, Angie, have two sons and daughters-in-law and three wonderful grandchildren. His hobbies include running and yardwork.
